This policy explains what we collect when you visit squishyadventcalendar.com or place an order, and what we do with it.
1. What We Collect
- Order information — name, email address, shipping address, and the contents of your order.
- Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- Usage information — pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location from your IP address.
- Anything you send us — the contents of emails you write to support, and your email address if you sign up for offers.
2. Why We Collect It
To process and deliver your order, to answer your questions, to prevent fraud, and to measure and improve our advertising.
3. Third Parties on This Site
We use a small number of third-party services, and they set their own cookies:
- PayPal — checkout and payment processing (PayPal, cards and Google Pay are handled by PayPal on our secure checkout page).
- Shopify — order management and fulfilment after you pay.
- Meta (Facebook) pixel — measuring which Facebook and Instagram advertisements lead to visits and orders, and showing our ads to people who visited the site.
- Google Ads — measuring which advertisements lead to orders.
- Klaviyo — email marketing and order-related email.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies
Cookies keep your cart working and let us measure advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the checkout may not work correctly if you block all of them.
5. Marketing Email
If you subscribe, you can unsubscribe from any email we send using the link at the bottom of it, or by emailing us. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop order and shipping notifications.
6. Your Rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@squishyadventcalendar.com and we will respond within 30 days. We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
7. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and payments are handled by a PCI-compliant processor. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care.
9. Changes
We will update this page if our practices change, and the effective date above will change with it.
